Grip-Lit has been around for a while. Books such as Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins have helped to catapult this genre into overdrive, as more and more readers latch onto these psychological thrillers. The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware follows this trend, providing readers with a tight read filled with twists and turns that keep a reader on the edge of his or her seat.
What would you do if you were on a cruise and saw a body thrown overboard—but all of the passengers are accounted for? The Woman in Cabin 10 features a strong protagonist and has a satisfying ending. This was a page-turner for me.
