Where do you go to be inspired?

Where do you go for inspiration? Relaxation? Where do you feel most creative?

For me, it is somewhere with a water view. Lucky for me, I have a nearby friend that invites me to hang out on her deck overlooking a small private lake. Two other local authors often join me. We call it Murphy’s Writing Retreat. Pictured here are Jamie Foley, author of Viper and The Sentinel Trilogy, me 🙂 and Audrey Wick, author of soon to be published Finding True North.

And when it gets too warm on the deck, we move inside. Same view, just a lot cooler. 🙂
